Internationalisierung ist weiterhin ein umfangreiches Thema in Drupal 7. Mittlerweile gibt es i18n in Version 1.4.
Ich gebe einen kurzen Überblick über die einzelnen i18n-Module ihre Funktionen und APIs.

Die Session richtet sich an Site Builder und Entwickler. Ein paar Grundlagen zu i18n werden vorausgesetzt.

Wie schreibe ich einen Field Formatter?

Ich denke immer, dass fast jeder der Drupal macht, auch programmieren kann. Das stimmt aber gar nicht. Viele reden zwar von "ja machste einfach 'n hook form alter", aber das heißt noch lange nicht, dass sie programmieren können. Ich selbst habe mein erstes Modul erst im Herbst 2011 geschrieben (ja ich kann mich gut erinnern), obwohl ich Drupal seit 2008 mache.

Denn auch ohne Modulentwicklung kommt man sehr weit mit Drupal. Um euch mal zu zeigen, wie einfach es ist ein Modul zu schreiben, werden wir zusammen einen Field Formatter für Drupal 7 programmieren.

Habt also keine Angst, wenn ihr noch nie ein Modul geschrieben habt :)

Entity Translation

For a long time, the standard content translation mechanism for Drupal has been to have one separate piece of content for each language. Entity Translation is an alternative translation mechanism that takes advantage of the multilingual storage of Drupal 7's Field API.

What are the benefits of using Entity Translation? What are the drawbacks? Is it the right tool for your project? That's what we'll discuss in this session.
